Tenants interested in your place will fill out a short application so your inbox will be filled with applications rather than solicitations. We then streamline the background check process providing you with comprehensive criminal, eviction, and credit reports on your tenants.
When it’s time to sign the paperwork, we help you create a well vetted lease automatically online. Once your renter is settled in, we automate collecting security deposits and the monthly rent. Your tenants can pay with automatic bank transfers and even credit cards! We let your tenants split the rent with as many roommates they want making it easier to keep track of who has paid and who hasn’t; a major bonus for your tenants.
Curious if your tenant has paid his rent yet this month? We take care of that with a payment tracker. And need to get ahold of your tenant for one reason or another? That’s done as well with our built in chat tools. What’s more is we do this all for only $2 a month which we deduct from the monthly rent.

I founded this company because years ago I was frustrated with having to write a check every month to my landlord. The only time I ever took out my checkbook was to pay rent! My landlords were at times too busy to deposit my checks and sometimes would sit on them for weeks before depositing them. I was so afraid of forgetting to pay, or being late, that I would sometime write my rent checks weeks in advance. I knew there had to be an easier way for us to communicate and get the rent paid. So I began working on Rentlit.com.
